PARKING AREA DEMO#
After completing the Quick Start demo, you can proceed to this section.

Download the latest release from:
AWSIM Labs GitHub Releases Page and launch
awsim_labs.x86_64
. -
From the Map option, select 'Parking Area'.

Set the Ego position to '81580.52, 50083.58, 41' and rotation to '0,0,100' for the starting point. You can later change the position by providing a 2D pose in the RViz2 screen to update the location.

Uncheck the Traffic Control box.

Start the simulation by clicking the 'Load' button.
Scenarios:#
Four simple scenarios have been created using the scenario editor for use in the Parking Area environment. Before the scenarios can be used with the scenario simulator, the tutorial provided here must be completed. Below are illustrated explanations of the scenarios.
The file named 'awsim_labs_parking_area_ss2' should be downloaded from the latest release.

Dimensions of Parking Areas#
The dimensions of the parking spaces were made based on this reference:

Parallel Parking: 3m x 7.275m (The dimensions were set to 1.5 times the size of the Lexus vehicle.)
L Parking: 2.5m x 6m
Angled parking: 7m x 3m & 60-degree
