ODD Definition#

Operation Domain Definition (ODD) describes the use scenarios for the vehicles to be designed and deployed. The deployed system should meet the ODD to be functionaly completed. This section describes the ODD for two use scenarios for LSA: Outdoor and Indoor.

  • Outdoor: describes the ODD definition for outdoor campus environment.
  • Indoor: describes the the ODD definition for indoor environment.

The outdoor ODD assumes that the vehicles can localize itself using GPS or HD map. However, the indoor ODD assumes that the vehicles do not have GPS reception and rely on camera and/or lidar for localization.
